On 08/07/2026, Deep Plough Agriculture Cooperative Society hosted a successful Oyster Mushroom Training at our Mushroom Hub in Pumula North, Bulawayo!
This training was proudly conducted through our Green Innovative Ideas Grant, awarded after emerging as a winning initiative at the Green Skills Bootcamp under the #YCA4SoTra project, funded by the EU and implemented by the Women's Institute for Leadership Development with support from Save the Children Zimbabwe and SAYWHAT.
Participants gained hands-on skills in oyster mushroom cultivation from substrate preparation to colonisation and harvesting, aligned with green skills and youth empowerment principles under the FSTP training standards.
Grateful for this support as we continue building sustainable, community-level agricultural capacity in Bulawayo and Beyond.
